About Printed / Designer Coil
Printed or designer coil carries a realistic pattern — wood grain, marble, stone, brick or camouflage — printed on a colour coated base and sealed with a clear protective top coat. It gives the look of natural material with the strength, fire safety and low upkeep of steel. It is used for doors, false ceilings, wall panels, furniture, shop fronts and appliance fronts. This is a new product for Avighna, planned with the colour coating line.

How it is made
Six steps on our colour coating line
Coil loaded, joined end-to-end for non-stop running.
Stores strip so the line never stops at coil change.
Alkali degreasing, rinsing and chemical conversion coat.
Roll-coated primer, cured in the first oven.
Top coat and backer applied, cured in the finish oven.
Film thickness, gloss and colour checked; coil rewound and packed.
