What Avighna does with CRGO
How CRGO is made
Silicon steel processed so the grain structure aligns with the rolling direction, minimising core loss.

- 1Silicon alloying
A higher silicon content raises electrical resistivity and cuts eddy-current loss.
- 2Cold reduction & decarburisation
Multiple reductions with intermediate annealing prepare the grain structure.
- 3High-temperature annealing
Secondary recrystallisation grows grains aligned to the rolling direction — the source of the low core loss.
- 4Insulation coating & slitting
An insulating coat is applied; strip is then slit to transformer lamination widths.
