What Avighna does with Galvalume
How Galvalume is made
Continuous hot-dip coating in a 55% aluminium, 43.4% zinc, 1.6% silicon alloy bath.

- 1Cleaning & annealing
Cold rolled strip is cleaned and annealed in-line ahead of the coating pot.
- 2Aluminium-zinc bath
The strip is drawn through the molten Al-Zn-Si alloy, forming a self-healing barrier layer.
- 3Coating control
Air knives set coating mass; the characteristic spangle-free finish forms on cooling.
- 4Processing to size
Sheared or slit for roofing, solar mounting and shed fabrication.
