Pails

Pails are open-top steel containers with a lid and wire handle, used to pack and carry viscous products such as paints, chemicals, adhesives, grease and printing inks. They come in two main shapes: conical pails, which nest inside each other to save freight space when empty, and straight-sided pails, which give more volume for the same footprint.

The body is rolled and welded, beaded for strength and curled at the top to seat the lid; the bottom is double-seamed on for a leak-tight base. Lugs and wire handles are fitted, and lids can be plain, with pour spouts or with tamper-evident rings. Internal lacquers are chosen to suit water-based or solvent-based contents.

Steel pails are strong, stack safely, resist puncture and are fully recyclable. Avighna produces pails from its own tinplate and CR steel, plain or printed, so your paint or chemical brand gets a reliable pack delivered to your filling line on time.
